An Independence Day Parade

We don't really live in a "neighborhood".  But thankfully we have great friends within walking distance who live right in front of a subdivision.  And that subdivision is a community, it seems.  Every year on the 4th of July they have a parade through their neighborhood.  This year our friends invited us and we attended.  All six of us clad in red, white and/or blue, we enjoyed walking, riding scooters, and walking the dog through the street.  We even met some new people (with a pool!).

Maggie made new friends too.

Hunter's bro Erik rode a horse.

Drayken's bro Falcon waved his flag that he bought at Kroger.

Isn't my crew cute in their patriotic colors?

Drayken's favorite pony got all dressed up for the occasion.

There was water and popsicles waiting at the end of the parade.

 Happy July 4th, all!
