A few weeks ago, we lucked upon these sets at a yard sale. They had barely been used... only one project was missing from the sets. We paid nearly nothing for them. Coolest part is that I had been eying sets like these for a while because the two older kids had both expressed and interest in learning to sew by hand and to cross stitch. Today we broke them out and gave it a go.
Both children were immediately engaged. Hunter doesn't need as much help as Ronin does.
I love the bright colors.
Ronin completed this project and made it into a heart shaped key chain.
They both continued to work on their cross stitching throughout the day and evening. Hunter has decided that this is his new "riding in the car" activity.
