Our specific Prayer Needs

Tomorrow, November 23rd, is our big day. Ronin will undergo a two hour procedure to have her bone marrow removed from her lower back. A few hours later her brother Hunter will receive it.
These are the specific prayers that we need right now.

For Ronin:
-no complications with the surgery/anesthesia
-an easy harvest that will result in them being able to remove plenty of marrow for Hunter's body
-minimal pain
-an easy recovery
-no fear/anxiety (she's torn all to pieces about what she has to do tomorrow)

For Hunter:
-minimal vomiting and diarrhea
-NO MOUTH AND THROAT SORES (this is a big one, folks)
-no pain
-for his ability to eat at least some periodically over the next few weeks
-no fevers
-for the germies to stay away from him
-that his body will accept Ronin's marrow as his own and will not attack it (Graph Vs. Host Disease)
-that he will be 100% cured of leukemia
-that he will use this experience as a gigantic testimony for God and go on to live a wonderful life reflecting his creator's love
-that he will be able to one day have children and that the Lord will be preparing his wife's heart for whatever challenges they may face
-that his mind/mathematical abilities will not be affected negatively
-NO SECONDARY CANCERS
-no damage to his thyroid which can in turn cause growth problems
-for us (his family) to raise enough money to build out our attic in order for Hunter to have his own "rest space" in our home (which will lower tension and stress in our house tremendously)

I know this is a lot to remember so perhaps you can print out this list and commit to praying for one point at a time. Thank you all for every prayer you say for Hunter.

Please consider sending Ronin a card. Hunter likes to get them but Ronin covets them in a big way! and remember, she's a patient too!

  2. Both Ronin and Hunter were added to our Wednesday night prayer list last week. We have many faithful people who will be praying! I will have to have my daughter make Ronin a card. She loves doing that!
