More waiting... but with cool new toys

Life just feels like it's on hold right now. Hunter is coming along with his treatment but he's still in the hospital and this week he's been confined to one room. Somehow at home we've managed to keep moving along but it's not the same. There is no routine or art projects or lessons. No field trips. Just endless hours of eating, tv watching, and bathing.

I made scones and some awesome decaf made by friends.

We've had many visitors from family and friends at the hospital and here at home. In this picture, Hunter and Ronin are posing with my dad. He's looking good, isn't he?

Hunter's steroids make him very hungry and so he talks and thinks about food a lot of the time. This is a chicken burrito that his dad ran to buy for him.

Neat new toys help pass the time. A remote control Buzz Lightyear that goes into Spanish mode is great entertainment on a stormy afternoon, hospital or no hospital.

Just had to show off the inscription on the trophy from the Summer's family.
We have the freakin' bestest friends.

Hard to believe this child is so sick, huh?

Hasta luego, amigos.
